ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This is a continue of artist Jiayin Lu's exploration of human desire and identity. Through the creation of a series of photographs, she delves into one of her primary interests “eroticism”, under the issue of the suppression of eroticism and the taboo around women’s body from her perspective as a Chinese woman. It is about celebrating the beauty and power of female, sexuality and promoting a more inclusive and just society for all. I believe that art has the power to inspire change and challenge the status quo, She tries to invite the audience to join on this journey of exploration and empowerment.
